Hero is the debut single by Walter King. It is a throwback to the hard rock/post punk rock sounds that dominated the airwaves throughout the later 90's and early 2000's.

Hero:

My life is a continuous nightmare.
Echoes of defeat and vicarious observations.
I see a certain impasse ahead
a road littered with dead thoughts and low expectations.

But the faces on the TV
tell me to be free
and believe
in hopeless dichotomies.

They know so we’ll know.

Good behavior and recompense bares no resemblance to a soul.

I see a little silhouette of a man,
